Whilst many of our guests like to stay in and around the Hermanus village,

enjoying the beautiful sea view, the undulating sand dunes, the comfortable facilities and the friendly warm town of Winterton, others like to explore.

Within easy reach of Hermanus is a wonderful world of things to do and see.

To the South is the lively seaside town of Great Yarmouth, with its nostalgic piers, seaside walks, amusements and fun parks such as Joyland, restaurants and shopping.

To the West, between Winterton and Norwich, you will find the Broads. Mile upon mile of tranquil rivers and large open lakes. Why not hire a boat and explore these beautiful country waterways at your own pace.

As well as the beautiful city of Norwich , with its large shopping centres, pubs, restaurants, theatres and cinemas the area around Hermanus is packed with places to go and things to see.

If you feel like a little exploring, why not take a trip to Africa Alive Wildlife Park, or Sea World in Great Yarmouth or you could take a trip on the Bure Valley Railway in Wroxham, a delightful town just twenty five minutes away in the heart of the Norfolk Broads.
